The Kevin Kararwa Leukaemia Trust was founded soon after the death of Kevin Kararwa; a remarkable and charismatic 24yr old young man who lost his battle against Leukaemia after failing to obtain a bone marrow donor.
Their vision of this Trust is to save lives by encouraging ethnic minorities in the UK to register on the bone marrow register, and support people affected with leukaemia. They also aim to establish a National Bone Marrow Register in East Africa and to recruit volunteer donors across the region.
